`Search` Function

1. In Step 1 of your search, you will be asked to indicate which Area of Law your legal problem falls under. There is a large menu of legal topics to choose from. If you are unsure which to select, you can select `General Practice`.
2. Some of the categories contain subcategories. You can select one (this may narrow the list your search will generate), or choose to search within the broader category.
3. Choose the location of your search, by city, and/or province, and/or postal code.
4. Click on `Search`.

If you searched by city or postal code, the search results will display legal professionals who are either in your city or in a nearby city.

To be fair to each legal professional listing on this online directory, the search results are displayed in random order, and not alphabetically or preferentially. There the order of results may change each time you search the directory, even if you enter the same search criteria.
